Explore the Fruit of the Spirit: A 7-Day Memory Devotional

Do you want to memorize Scripture but don’t know where to start? Check out my Memory Devotionals! This week’s memory devotional explores the fruit of the spirit.
What is a Memory Devotional?
A Memory Devotional is a devotional that focuses on a specific few verses for an entire week. My most recent memory devotional is on Galatians 5: 22-26 which focuses on the fruit of the spirit. It contrasts God’s command to Adam and Noah to be fruitful to our command in the New Testament.
Why a Memory Devotional?

Whereas young children are able to memorize things quickly because they have less stuff cluttering our brains. As we age, we have more memories; therefore, in order to add new memories, we need to make connections. To help with this, I’ve been creating Memory Devotionals which are 7-day devotionals that each focus on a short Scripture passage. They also guide you in memorizing the Scripture passage in small chunks, hooking each successive chunk onto the previous chunk. This post will feature a Memory Devotional focusing on Galatians 5: 22-26. (Note: This Memory Devotional complements my FREE Bible Studies on Genesis 6 and 8 about Noah’s Ark and the covenant God made with Noah.) Galatians 5: 22-26

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.”
Galatians 5: 22-26, NIV

Ladder and Friends Learn to Pray: Coming Spring 2026!!!

Are you looking for a way to disciple your young son or grandson? Are you having a difficult time finding Christian resources that target young boys? If so, I have the perfect book for you: Ladder and Friends Learn to Pray!
Many of the Christian resources I found for young children had cute little kids and cuddly animals. This was not appealing at all to my son; like most boys he wanted trucks and wheel and trains! So, I scoured Amazon looking for Christian books aimed at young boys, but I couldn’t find anything. Therefore, I decided to write my own. It should be available Spring 2026. Join the Mailing List Today to be the first to know when it’s released! There is not financial commitment at this time.
