The Tabernacle

I created this study on the tabernacle many years ago, but it is still so much fun! After completing this study, not only will it give you a greater understanding of Scripture, but it will show you how the Gospel of Jesus Christ is in the Bible from the beginning. You can’t help but be amazed!

It was originally designed to be done in a small group, but it can also be completed individually. The documents are available in both Microsoft Word and PDF formats.

Directions for Individual Study

  1. Print out both Tour of Tabernacles and Tabernacle Keys Individuals (The “Tabernacle Keys” document can be printed in black and white, but the “Tour of Tabernacles” document must be printed in color. )
  2. Staple the “Tour of the Tabernacles” document together.
  3. Read the “Tour of the Tabernacles” document individually. When you get to the underlined word, find the corresponding key. Then read the symbolism and related Scripture verses on the back of it.
  4. Use the discussion questions in the document as a guide for personal reflection.

Directions for Group Study

  1. Print out Tour of Tabernacles and Tabernacle Keys in color. (The “Tabernacle Keys” document can be printed in black and white, but the “Tour of Tabernacles” document must be printed in color. )
  2. Staple the “Tour of the Tabernacles” document together.
  3. Cut out all the rectangles on the “Tabernacle Keys” document. Paste the picture of a key on one side of an index card and its corresponding information on the back side of the index card. (See image below).
  4. Read the “Tour of the Tabernacles” document together as a small group or individually. When you get to the underlined word, find the corresponding key. Then read the symbolism and related Scripture verses on the back of it.
  5. Use the discussion questions in the document as a guide.
