Meet Anna Cannelongo

AUTHOR, EDUCATOR, BLogger

Anna Cannelongo is an educator with over 20 years of experience at both public and Christian schools and as a math program specialist for the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Her work there earned her the 2022 Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics’ Bert K. Waits Friend of Mathematics Award. Now she is an author, blogger, and a stay-at-home mom to a truck-loving kid! With Word and Numbers and Ladder and Friends Learn to Pray, she is excited to have the freedom to pair her love of curriculum with her passion for discipling others for Christ. She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and son.

Meet the Illustrator: Steliyana Doneva

Stela lives in Sofia, Bulgaria with her husband, a violinist, and three children, who constantly provide her with continuous inspiration. Her love of painting and drawing started from an early childhood as she drew her grandfather’s horses. Stela studied at the School for Applied Arts with a specialty in children’s toys. She also graduated at St. Cyril and ST. Methodius University in Veliko Tarnovo in 1998 with an MA Degree in graphic arts. Stela started her career as an animator in a movie animation studio. Some of her titles include Mighty Micah by Jane Yolen, God’s Big Story for You by Our Daily Bread, An Elephant Is Not a Bird by Brave Books, and others.
